Hit Counter

I tried several times to add a hit counter to this site but nothing I tried worked.
I even tried pasting the counter from FFTL but that isn't "well formed" for this site or some damned thing.

Google easyhit counters to see what they are claiming to offer you for free.
Theoretically you just copy their HTML and paste it into the "edit HTML" of the layout.

Beats me
