Love Capture

As a poet.
I’m as much
a dreamer,
as I am a witness
to the full spectrum
of my perceptions
of life,
the universe
and breaking news.
Love
is the common
denominator.
For my part.
I’d much prefer
to catch rainbows
rather than
klansmen.

Love that last line, Glenn. I so agree. There is more than enough hatred to go around, I fear.
I would avoid the klansmen as well. Might as well chase the rainbows.

It is great to see your dreams come true on paper, (or a computer screen). I hope I never have any dreams with Klassen in them. That would be a nightmare
This quadrille is incredible. You are still th dreamer. Catching rainbows? I'll take them any day of the week. We need more love and more dreams of love than we need hate - on both the right and the left. Good job on this one Glenn. You have outdone yourself.
This is remarkable, Glenn. I'm still smiling at you chasing rainbows. Let the Klansmen be hanged (so to speak).
This is a wonderful piece of poetry. The dream catcher so symbolic as it catches the bad dreams and let's the good ones filter through. Keep chasing those rainbows they are out there beyond the grey clouds.
I like that you're a witness as well as a chaser of rainbows. We can't ignore those Klansmen, though like you, I'd rather that we have rainbows.
But with klansmen there wouldn't be any rainbows to catch.
I'd go with you on catching rainbows. Ha! I don't think I can survive catching klansmen. Great write, Glenn!
